I caught snatches of a gospel choir singing beneath a bridge on a muggy November day in New York. This blended with location recording from Rome taken in a small backstreet restaurant to create an evolving and unpredictable soundscape. Extreme time stretching and time-domain manipulation blended with a classic vintage synth (Jupiter 8). The each recording pass captured only one note in isolation, without hearing other recordings. The resultant soundscape was built from memory rather than a performance-proper.
