about

Gretel describes their journey through the woods. Many hours were spent trying to find appropriate language through which a child would express themselves. The sound design was equally taxing, with synthesizers being used to mimic strange and off-putting sounds of birds and other forest creatures.

lyrics

Although not alone
I find myself somewhere I'd rather not be
Although not alone
Why do I find myself feeling so frightened?

What cruel twist in fate has lead me here?
To bare a fate so cruel is twisted indeed
What parting is this I carry?
And will it help me find my way back home?

Oh Brother, who will be my protector if not you?
It's getting colder, it's getting darker
We're going deeper into danger
In to...

Does nobody see I am nothing but a child?
Does nobody see I am nothing but a child?
I'm nothing but a child

No possessions of any worth do we carry
No wisdom to trade

Doesn't any body see?
I am nothing but a child
Doesn't anybody see I am nothing but a child?

La la la...

Please provide some shelter, please provide some shelter...
